2 autumn October 28, 2009 at 8:30 p: We put it in a “bug jug” with leaves and a stick and the next morning it was dead I felt really bad! No more catching crawly things..unless I want it to die.

BTDT! We’ve kept a couple of them to the point of chrysalis, but then it usually doesn’t go well. It’s really quite amazing how quickly we can kill a caterpillar.

It sure was pretty, though. Great photo!
