Snow day!

I love living in Texas!!  If you don’t live here, you should. If you do live in Texas but not in Kerrville, you should move here.  If you haven’t lived in the city your whole life you probably won’t appreciate the beauty of Kerrville like I do.

Sunday it was near 70 degrees and sunny. G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S.

Tuesday (yesterday) I don’t think it reached 36 degrees.  And it was snowing. All day.

Today it was sunny and in the upper 50s (I think. It was warm.)

It’s a good thing we homeschool year round. I mean if it’s snowing we certainly can’t have school- although we did drive to the church and sharpen all the pew pencils.  And when it’s sunny and “warm” we have to go for a country drive- and get way off track and end up taking a 20 minute detour!

Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to homeschool and have my husband work from home!

Here are some pictures from our little snow day.

1) no comments about my kids’ snow attire
2) no comments about my homely appearance

homely…I dare anyone to say that…I think you are stunningly beautiful… :) and I am not partial!

What’s wrong with their attire? Layer, layer, layer…that’s the Texas dress code!

Oh, that is snow….anytime you see flakes falling from the sky and not driving down the road, that is snow!

I think the photos are darling! We talked about it, also, as a family: what a joy it is to homeschool that we could take breaks and go outside and enjoy the day as a family. Such a treasure.

I think you all look darling. You are so NOT homely!

I was going to say you look GREAT!
I Love living in Texas. And you got a lot more snow than we did in the big city.
We have about 8 acreas of land in Alamo Springs Ranch right down the road from you next to the Bat Cave(well in really is a tunnel) and as soon as The Lord provides the money we will move there. Unless we can sale it and pay of our debt and still have some money to buy something with out debt. Anyway I am rambling it is late.
Goodnight.
Marcy
