You name it, it’s on my floor. It doesn’t matter that I swiffered this morning, then vacuumed, then mopped and yes Swiffered again! As I walk through my house I can still see wisps of hair/fur mingling with the leaves that have so gracefully come into my house via the children.
It doesn’t help that the kids have a new disc swing in the backyard that conveniently rests over the only dry patch in the yard. Therefore, every time they jump/fall off the swing they cover themselves in dead grass and leaves.
Add to that the terrible sense of humor my son has (which means when he comes in and I say “STOP! Don’t shake, back up slowly.” He smiles and wags his booty. Not funny.) and I can’t keep the dirtiness off my floors!
But, I’m not that irritated. Seriously. I have this unhealthy love for Swiffering/mopping/vacuuming. I come about this obsession quite honestly. My dad used to vacuum multiple times a day. Seriously. Can you tell I’m not joking by the double use of the word seriously in this paragraph.
I’d happily vacuum anyone’s house. That’s how crazy I am.
There is one thing that I truly hate though. This probably tops my pet peeve list. I despise walking through the house when it’s dark and kicking a toy across the floor only for it to slam against something. I really don’t like noise when my children are sleeping. Poor Michael. When he kicks the invisible toy I seem to forget that it’s not his fault.
If you’ve been to my house you know it’s relatively clean all the time but even so there is always that tumbleweed of fur and batman figurine to keep my obsession going.

Cleaning is over rated
LOL, I hate that “kicking a toy across the room and it slamming into the wall” noise, too.
